The Ruben variety is a polish creation the fruit is among the largest. It measures approximately 3 cm long and has a broad, elongated shape. The skin is dark blue and completely covered with a bloom. Firm, sweet, aromatic, and has a blueberry-like flavor. It stores and transports well. This is a late variety, reaching harvest maturity in mid-June. It produces abundant fruit annually. The fruit does not drop prematurely, although individual berries may drop. Up to 3 kg of berries can be harvested from a mature bush. This variety is also recommended for mechanical harvesting due to its long shelf life.
