Milanowek Mulberry NEW

The Morus alba x rubra 'Milanowek' is a strong and hardy hybrid mulberry known for its abundant yield and delicious flavor. This variety combines the best of the white and red mulberry and is ideal for both the gardener and for planting in food forests. From the third year after planting, this tree begins producing large, elongated, deep purple fruits with an intensely sweet and aromatic flavor.

The harvest period of the 'Milanowek' is particularly long, from June to the end of September. The tree eventually grows to a height of approximately 4 to 6 meters and develops a characteristic, irregular shape. The leaves are large and decorative, and also provide ample shade.

This mulberry is resistant to winter cold, but young plants may benefit from some protection during severe frost.
