The Droplet Black shark plum is distinguished by its unusually shaped fruit, which resembles a shark's tooth.
This is a very decorative tree with dark purple leaves and dark pink flowers the fruit is also very tasty.
For us this tree leaves out very early it doesn't seem to be affected by frost but time will tell how well it golrows in Ireland.I would grow it just because it looks beautiful in the landscape.
