Illinois Everbearing Mulberry NEW

Illinois Everbearing is a hybrid Mulberry(Alba x Rubra)that produces delicious long and plump fruits over several weeks during the summer. Purplish-black in colour and sweet in flavour; the taste is very similar to blackcurrants. Illinois Everbearing has large heart shaped, green leaves that appear once the frost has been and gone. Delicious cooked into pies, sweet puddings and jams but is also nice when it's eaten fresh.

Tolertant to most soils as long as it's well drained. Plant in a sheltered but sunny position.
