Early Long' hazelnuts are medium to large, very elongated and cylindrical.The shell is thin and brittle. The fruit is large, almost completely filling the shell. It is covered with a delicate, fibrous skin. 'Early Long' ripens in late August or early September.
This tree produced nut in our orchard after 1yr in the ground.
