Iga Honeyberry

The Iga honeyberry is a vigorous shrub that reaches a height of 1.5 to 2 meters. Its compact, dense habit makes it ideal for smaller gardens and spaces. Its leaves are dark green and glossy, and the shrub tolerates changing weather conditions and a variety of soil types, provided they are well-drained.

The Iga haskap berries are medium-sized, oval, and have an intense, dark blue color. They are characterized by a distinct, sweet flavor with a refreshing sourness, appreciated by both gourmets and cooks. The berries ripen from mid-June to early July, allowing for early harvesting. They are excellent for direct consumption and also ideal for preserves such as jams, juices, and compotes.
