The haskap berry (Lonicera caerulea 'Strawberry Sensation') is a valued fruit variety distinguished by large, aromatic berries with a sweet and sour taste with a noticeable note reminiscent of wild strawberries.

The fruit of this variety is large, reaching approximately 2 cm in length, and has an elliptical or slightly rounded shape. It is covered with a navy blue skin with a delicate waxy coating. The flesh is juicy, soft, and very aromatic.

The fruit's flavor is described as sweet and sour, with a distinct, fruity note reminiscent of strawberries.
