Amelanchier alnifolia Sleyt small plant in small 9cm pot

Sleyt' fruit is considered among the sweetest and most aromatic in the Amelanchier genus. It has a slightly sour flavor. The fruit measures 10-14 mm in diameter. The skin is initially red, later pinkish-purple, and when ripe, bluish-black, covered with a grayish, waxy coating. The fruit resembles chokeberries or blueberries in shape. The shrub bears fruit in the third year after planting.
